A restaurant owner just bought the most expensive fish in the world, it is a bluefin tuna that weights 222 kg. The tuna was sold for $ 1.8 million at the traditional Tsukiji market, in Tokyo.
Kiyoshi Kimura, the winning bidder, is owner of the chain Sushi Zanmai and it’s his six time in row he outbid his competitors. Sushi Zanmai is the first 24/7 sushi restaurant in Japan.
Specialists say a tiny slice of sushi of bluefin tuna can be sold for up to $ 24. He plans to offer the bluefin tuna on saturday nights, in case you wonder.
