The Wanda Reign on the Bund is the first 7-star hotel in Shanghai and it was spent $ 516 million for building it. It was built by Wang Sicong, son of the richest man in China, Wang Jianlin and famous for spending a lot on chinese nightlife.
The hotel is project of the british architect Norman Robert, which made great combination of Art Deco and modern decoration. It has 193 rooms (14 of them are suites). Another key feature is VIP club, where members can relax in a spa, wine & cigar bar and disco.
The restaurants of the hotel are a japanese of the famous chef, Marc Meneau, Cafe Reign and River Drunk a restaurant specialized on southern chinese cuisine. Among other amenities are L’Occitane personal care, floor heating system, heated towel rack, sauna and massage.
Its elegant conference room ensure that the hotel is also perfect for business trips.
As the name suggests, it’s located on the bund of Huangpu river. The charge for the Executive Bund View Suite is CNY 7577 ($ 1,138) per night.
