The Krystall Hotel is a Project of the architect Koen Olthuis and the firm Dutch Docklands, a architectural company specialized in floating projects. Olthuis is the architect of the Project of a floating hotel in Maldives, Greenstar.

The hotel will have the shape of snow flake and among its attractions will be the northern lights and the midnight sun. It will have 86 rooms with glass roof, spa, fitness studio and a futuristic conference room.

The idea is building a hotel sustainable and self suporting despite the harsh climate conditions of such high latitudes. It will be floating on the sea near a fjord of the norwegian city, Tromsø. The city is the third largest urban area above the Arctict Circle.
