The argentine fashion designer and real estate developer Alan Faena opened his second hotel, Faena Hotel Miami. His first hotel is in Buenos Aires, which he created “Faena district” making it one of the most expensive areas of the city. Now with his $ 1 billion project, his idea was to bring South to the North.
Among the hotel’s amenities are, “Tierra Santa Spa” – built on ancient healing techniques and with indigenous ingredientes-, swimming pool, a state-of-art gym with a ocean view, yoga and pilates sessions, a Rossano Ferretti Salon, a restaurant conceived by the chef Francis Mallmann and 150-seat theater. It also has comissioned art works of Alberto Garutti and Juan Gatti.
Faena had a collaboration of billionaire Len Blavatnik and Studio Jobs a Belgium based consultancy firm for the hotel rooms and interior design.
The hotel was built in a forgotten neighborhood of Miami, Alan said he likes to change the urban landscape, as he has done previously in Buenos Aires.
The reservations starts from $ 390, Bay View Room. The Oceanfront Suite charge is $ 8,068 per day.
