Antilia, the $ 1 billion home


This “house” in Mumbai, India is the world’s first billion-dollar home. The owner is Mukesh Ambani, indian multi-billionaire.


The 27 floors skyscraper was built based on Vastu Shastra, a traditional Hindu system of Architecture. Antillia was designed by Perkins and Will, a Chicago-based architects.

It is 170 meters high, it has 10 elevator and is 4,500 m² (48,000 sq ft).

Its name comes from the mythical island in the Atlantic Ocean. It is the second most expensive home in the world (the first is Buckingham Palace).
